A freelance videographer is usually someone that specializes in capturing footage and delivering to to another company. This type of operation rarely requires any editing of RAW footage. A production company typically provides a larger crew, often with producers and editors. Production companies are typically engaged with the client requires a project shot and delivered.

Can you match our brand style and existing footage?
Yes – we will do the best we can however there will be inherent inconsistencies depending on the camera + lens combination from the previous videographer, and their style. We can follow a reference video, colour style, framing guidelines, and shot list so your footage looks as consistent as possible across campaigns.
How much notice do you need to book?
As a rule, the earlier the better, but we can often accommodate last minute shoots depending on availability. For events and peak periods, booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead is ideal. However, quite often we work on short lead times, as close as 24 hours before the shoot.
What is your hourly or day rate?
We have a 3-hour (minimum), 4 hour (half-day), 8 hour (full-day) and 12-hour (full-day extended) rate. We have a rate card that can be easily downloaded. Considerations that increase the rate are travel, multiple locations, pre-dawn or midnight start-times, gear not included in the shoot kit and any extensive pre-production requirements. We’re happy to provide a quote based on what you’re after!
Do you travel outside Brisbane?
Yes. We can travel across South East Queensland, interstate and worldwide (especially the Amalfi Coast) when required. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and call times.
Do you have insurance and relevant safety compliance?
Yes. We can provide public liability insurance details and comply with site safety requirements. For construction and industrial sites, we work with your induction process and PPE rules.
Can you film in low light or challenging environments?
Yes. We plan lighting and audio for clean, professional results, even in offices, warehouses, or event venues. Our cameras are also particularly good at shooting in low light.

RAW Footage is delivered overnight or next-day.
Do you deliver captions and social cutdowns?
Yes. We can create captioned versions and multiple cutdowns for LinkedIn, Instagram, and internal use. However, this would technically be a different engagement to a freelance videographer and we would quote accordingly for this.
