What should I wear for headshot photography?
Solid colours work best. Avoid busy patterns and large logos (unless it’s your uniform). Choose outfits that match how you want to be seen by clients. Most importantly, choose something that you feel comfortable wearing.
How long does a headshot photography session take?
An individual headshot session is usually 15–45 minutes. Team headshot photography sessions are scheduled based on headcount and setup time.
How many headshot photos will I receive?
From a session, you’ll typically receive about 40 photos in a variety of different styles. These photos will be uploaded to an online gallery. All these photos will be professionally edited and retouched. Rather than providing you with a smaller, specified number of photos, we find that editing and retouching all the good, usable photos – we limit the back and forth and you get much more value out of the session.
Do you help with posing and expression?
Of course! It’s our job to make you feel comfortable and to help you present yourself in the way that you want. We guide you through simple poses and small adjustments in the Tempus style so you look relaxed, confident, natural, and approachable.
What backgrounds do you offer for headshots?
We can shoot clean studio style backgrounds or use your office environment for a more natural, branded look.

Do you provide LinkedIn ready headshots?
We deliver headshots that are suitable for use on LinkedIn, but not specifically for the platform, per se. It’s pretty easy to crop using their tools – but nothing special is required here anyway.
Can you photograph our whole team in one day?
Yes! That’s our headshot station. In about 3 hours we could shoot around 50 – 60 team members. This is an amazing way to smash out all your headshots in one sitting. We come to you with the setup and help your team feel comfortable as we take their headshot, one at a time.
Do you offer group photos and office lifestyle images too?
Yes. We can add team group photos and workplace lifestyle shots in the same session if you want more content for your website. Branding images are something we really enjoy and would love to assist you with.
What usage rights do we get for headshot images?
Technically, the image still remains property of Tempus Media however you can use your headshot/images for anything you choose business marketing, including your website, LinkedIn, proposals, and internal profiles. Please note that if you would like to use your image for large-format printing such as billboards, a fee will be applied to this.
